This document is a summary of the recommendations done by a multidisciplinary group of Colombian physicians, about the diagnosis, prevention and pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Recommendations in this Position Statement are based on a comprehensive, nonsystematic, review of the medical literature about this topic.
