This is a reflection based on the analysis of the widespread exhaustion in individuals in today's societies; the first part has as its reference the theoretical approach of the Korean philosopher Byung-Chul Han on the society of fatigue and the excess of positivity in contemporaneity. This is knotted to other disciplines such as psychoanalysis, sociology or philosophy which question that excess of positivity that the neoliberal capitalist logics have established as an unquestionable imperative, and that has led to the production of exhausted subjectivities. Against such excess of positivity, the alternative presented stems from the awareness of negativity as a limit; this would allow individuals to face differently the discontent due to exhaustion and fatigue.
