This paper has to the purpose to compare several propagation models in a DVB - T2 digital terrestrial television network in fixed reception in the metropolitan area of Bogotá D. C. city (Colombia) by means of a coverage study. For the simulation of propagation models: ITU - R 526, ITU - R 1546, and Deygout method, it is used the Xirio Online software and then performance comparisons with real measurements with the final objective to establish the behavior each one. The performance comparison of the propagation models under study indicate that the ITU - R 526 model shows the most consistent data with radio field measurements.
