This paper presents the application of a distributed PI control strategy for a set of boost converters. The synchronization problem is solved using a PI control strategy achieving a common reference value, first using the same Laplacian matrix for each layer, and then using a different Laplacian matrix, known as a multiplex control. Boost converters are modeled as identical agents using space-state representation to be able to see the differences in consensus achievement when different gains and topologies are set.
