El sistema educativo colombiano se encuentra en proceso de transformacion, siendo la formacion del capital humano indispensable para la adaptacion a las condiciones cambiantes del entorno. De acuerdo a la Ley 30 de 1992, la Educacion Superior en Colombia contempla los aspectos de ensenanza, aprendizaje, catedra e investigacion con el fin de lograr un espiritu reflexivo, autonomia personal, libertad de pensamiento y pluralismo ideologico de los educandos. Los semilleros de investigacion contribuyen al alcance de los objetivos de la educacion superior, dado que son considerados una estrategia de iniciacion a la actividad cientifica e investigativa, para generar comunidades de aprendizaje donde se desarrollen temas de investigacion, formulacion de proyectos y divulgacion del conocimiento cientifico. El presente documento destaca las politicas investigativas acopladas por las 6 Instituciones de Educacion Superior adscritas al Sistema Universitario de la ciudad de Manizales, especificamente, describe los semilleros de investigacion y su contribucion al fomento de la cultura investigativa a partir de actividades que generen formacion investigativa, investigacion formativa y trabajo en red conforme a lo establecido por el marco del Instituto Colombiano para el Desarrollo de la Ciencia y la Tecnologia. ABSTRACT The Colombian educational system is in the process of transformation and the formation of human resources is essential for adaptation to changing conditions in the environment. According to the law 30/1992, higher education in Colombia contemplates the aspects of teaching, learning and research in order to achieve a reflexive spirit, personal autonomy, freedom of thought and ideological pluralism of learners. Research seedlings contribute to the achievement of the objectives of higher education; they are considered a strategy of initiation to scientific and research activity to generate learning communities where research topics are developed, project formulation and dissemination of scientific knowledge. This document highlights the research policies applied by the 6 education Institutions attached to the University System of Manizales city, specifically, it describes the research seedlings and their contribution to the promotion of the research culture based on activities that generate research training, formative research and networking according to the Colombian Institute for the Development of Science and Technology.
