The research aims to generate some epistemological foundations as a basis for the theoretical construction of a psycho-pedagogical model in sexual education directed at adolescents. It was performed under the qualitative paradigm framed in the phenomenological - hermeneutical methods supported in the case study; it is significant to note that in the first place a pilot study of quantitative cut was carried out; which allowed to show the categories to be treated in the information analysis part. The categories such as sexual abuse, psychoactive substance use, early pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, pornography, cybersex and sexting, suggest that it is pertinent to implement the epistemological foundations for the teaching of sexual education in institutions, which leads to that society achieves a social welfare in accordance with the minimum requirements that guarantee the subsistence of man.
