This paper describes a proposal to build information systems with complex logics and that can be deployed in different environments and computational platforms in a fast and robust way. To do this, it uses fundamental concepts of relational databases, petri nets and workflows, as well as business process languages, such as BPM and BPEL, are a reference. With the purpose of offering a modular vision, the different components that make up SAFET system, as a central element of this work, are discussed, emphasizing coordination and integration processes between them. Finally, two examples of common use on the Internet are shown, where some contributions of the proposal to the information systems development can be identified in a practical way.
