The following work has the general objective of making a critical reflection on the definition of childhood as a subject of rights. For the analysis, a deconstruction of the concept "subjects of rights" is made in light of the theory of biopower, proposed by Foucault, and the contributions of the critical theory of Giroux. Likewise, it proceeds with a resignification of the face of childhoods, alluding to those devices of power that prevent the subjects, for whom the policies of "protection of childhood" were built, from accessing them. Finally, the situation of children in Colombia is analyzed, in relation to the four areas of law posed by the public policy of comprehensive attention.
