This research shows a study seeking to recognize the main causes of dropout of the participants from online courses at the school of study with this, identify innovative strategies to help to reduce this situation. As part of this, a historical background is described about the online courses, distance education and technological innovations and the relation between these relations with the purpose of education. Also, the role innovative teachers have in this relation. A quantitative method was used based on a non-experimental design. For the data analysis, a descriptive method was applied, besides of PSPP Software to tab information. As a conclusion, necessity to strength process of induction to online course and research proposals that can contribute to this process in the future are planned.
