This paper reports the results of the research work called Contributions arising from research studies in the period (2010-2015) to the Meaning Units of the knowledge objects of the Postgraduate program in Education and Family Orientation in the framework of Higher Education at Fundacion Universitaria Monserrate (Bogotá, Colombia).The research was developed from the qualitative approach with a hermeneutic paradigm that places interpretation as a link for the understanding of the languages and discourses found in the research projects carried out by the students in training and which object of study was family.
