Background: Post-infectious bronchiolitis obliterans (PIBO) is a chronic pulmonary disease, sequelae of an acute bronchiolitis in the first months of life. PIBO has been reported mainly in Brazil, Argentina and Chile and with fewer cases in Italy, Spain, Turkey, China and Malasya. There are not follow up PIBO reports from Colombia in the medical literature. Methods: We described 21 PIBO cases in Bogotá-Colombia. The study was carried out from January 2015 to July 2016, in a paediatric pulmonary reference clinic for a population of 400.000 children <15 years of age. The study have both retrospective and prospective compounds. Results: See tables 1 and 2. Conclusions: PIBO had unfavourable course in the most of the cases. The main factors associated with PIBO were male sex and severe acute bronchiolitis in the first year of life. The results are in accordance with previous descriptions in the literature.
