5G wireless promises to meet the demands for higher speeds and capacities in wireless data communication. A strategy presented in this context, is the use of a large number of antennas, known as L-MIMO (Large MIMO). One of the challenges in designing detection schemes in these systems is to achieve efficient algorithms with low complexity to make possible their actual implementation. This article presents the results achieved with the design of detection schemes with the application of Tabu Search based algorithms, comparing them by simulation with reference detectors.
