This paper presents an analysis of the novel Los pecados de Inés de Hinojosa, by the Colombian writer Próspero Morales Pradilla. It proposes, as an analytic vector, to clear up the mythicalness and enigmas of jouissance by means of an epistemic effort derived from the encounter between Literature and Psychoanalysis. It traces different moments in the life of the character Inés de Hinojosa which express the paradoxical satisfaction that took her to death and that Jacques Lacan named “jouissance”.
