The article aims to determine the relationship between organizational strategy and the adoption of healthy practices in health organizations of the Colombian Caribbean Region. To do this we sought to identify the type of strategy most prevalent in the organization under study and analyze health practices in health institutions. The research was part of a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational design. To study this relationship, it was conducted fieldwork in healthcare companies taking as example to 134 employees of these organizations. Results: it was observed that the adoption of healthy practices related to development plans, employees and the environment did not have a statistically significant relationship with the strategy; community variables, buyers and sellers, if they had a statistically significant relationship with the strategy. Conclusion: relations between strategic planning in a company, are not implemented in healthy practices in organizations.
