The present study analyzes of the ergonomic risks to which the students of a University Institution of Higher Education were exposed during the second semester, 2015. The data gathered in this work were direct observation, surveys and a risk matrix. Finally the current ergonomic college status was determined, moreover it was compared to several colleges in Latin America by regarding opinions of students from in-ternational education faculty. In conclusion recommendations from this research are focused on to reduce exposure of the students to current biomechanical risks to develop a general plan which includes short-term, medium term and long-term goals.
