In Latin America only 2% of books are accessible to the visually impaired, a phenomenon that affects their inclusive development, for this reason, the ratification of the Marrakech Treaty is being studied, so that copyright laws include exceptions that allow entities that promote the rights of people with visual disabilities to produce such works without having to request permits or pay rights to make them available to this population.
