The creation and articulation process of the regional entrepreneurship network of Cauca was analyzed – a resource introduced by the Colombian law. Its members’ narratives reveal that the general notion of network sheltered both the transfer of responsibilities to local actors as well as government abstention regarding the structural aspects of entrepreneurship promotion in Colombia.
