The varied and novel manipulation of props in Ancient Greek Comedy can be read as a typical feature of the comic genre which, in its visible itinerary intended to distinguish from tragedy, forces to the limits their aesthetic possibilities, increasing their effects and intensity. This paper provides an overview of the creative scenic use of props in Aristophanes's comedy.
