We propose a specific and innovative research perspective on the relationship between clinic and politics. We conceive the political determination of clinical praxis as inevitable and, to that extent, we defend the pertinence of modes of investigation that reveal such determination and make its analysis possible. We study two historical moments, one concerning the trajectory of Winnicott and another concerning the trajectory of Lacan, from which we demonstrate and discuss the characteristics of the perspective that we advance, having as horizon the inseparability between clinic and politics.
