Characteristics of the Karari or kahoku nut tree, currently indigenous inhabitants of Vaupés of the Hehenawa clan of the Cubeo ethnic group, their uses, derived products, use of the fruit and the tree, production and harvest are described, and the artisanal methodology for oil extraction is specified.
