This study describes the research process, that analyzed the current state of knowledge on Social Responsibility (SR), from the existing document production in Latin America from 1990 to 2015. In this way was made through the data mining a collection of 446 texts and a documental base where research groups, organizations and specialized websites in the SR are related. Intellectual production was later systematized and analyzed in order to generate investigative guidelines to facilitate and consolidate various processes in managing bibliographic information. features such as registration forms, distribution, trends and thematic content areas relate more coverage later. The research aims to promote the development of communication processes, research and teaching on SR, which contribute to the design of plans, programs and projects with a socially responsible approach that contribute to sustainable development
