Diarios escritos y virtuales de diálogo-reflexión: una herramienta poderosa para el fomento del aprendizaje y la construcción del conocimiento entre estudiantes y profesores
This article describes the pedagogical experience of self-reflection and meta-cognition developed in a Colombian university over eleven years. The experience started with the writing of diaries for dialogue and reflection which I established with the students to help them understand their own learning process and develop learning strategies. It was later transformed into a virtual tool which enabled the students to be exposed to different learning contexts and develop a greater degree of autonomy. The results showed that the students developed skills of critical thinking and appreciated this experience as an effective learning tool.
