This article has to do with the establishment of a sociological categories overall for the understanding of the everyday life of the population groups, and specifically of the natives and inhabitants of the Department of Cordoba and its zone of influence in this southwestern of the Colombian Caribbean side. The article proposes the conceptual, theoretical and practical development of the research line on the sinuanidad1. It consists of three chapters. The first on the construction of a few categories with which develop the ideal type of the native and inhabitant of the Sinu. The second in relation to the living paradoxes which establish the dynamics of interaction in the area and the third on a hypothesis of the formation of women and men in the context of the sinuanidad. This reflection, moreover, from an outline methodology of how to promote the production of knowledge, between teacher and student, jointly, after the filing of initial problem questions, whose answers allow the formulation of new questions and the elaboration of a pattern of categories for the preparation of instruments and data collection, all work of qualitative research that seeks the ideal (in the manner of Max Weber2) type or the characterization of the profile of the be specifically trained in a specific region.
