Abstract This work presents NetEval, a web‐based educational tool for designing and assessing heterogeneous networks and receiving feedback on design mistakes. NetEval challenges students with scenarios that require the design of networks using Wi‐Fi, radio frequency links and other wired technologies and security mechanisms, letting them freely create answer networks.
