New technological tools allow the development of integral proposals for professional training and research activities; satellite images play an important role in studies of precision agriculture and use of productive areas anywhere in the country. Agroindustrial Training Center “La Angostura” has different productive areas but they are not clearly identified on maps and there is not a clear strategy of divulgation for its use, especially considering apprentices who attend different development programs at the Training Center. The aim of this study was to use satellite technologies as a tool for zoning the Agroindustrial Training Center “La Angostura” throug interdisciplinary work. For this, a high resolution multi-spectral satellite image of the Training Center was requested to identify the productive units according to areas of interest, and then a processing of polygons of smaller units using GPS equipment was conducted, this information was digitized in the satellite photo. At the same time, for each identified unit, photographic record was made in order to have representative images to describe the unit in question, with all this information a file was created for viewing such specialized programs of geographical information system and a free access web 2.0 application which is used to view the information registered, in order to access to information for the purpose of divulgation and promotion of the Training Center. 4 Zones were identified altogether (environmental, livestock, agricultural and buildings) representing 41 polygons, 60% of the polygons are productive units not administrative, all units were digitalized using specialized archives for consultation and management to develop agricultural activities and precision livestock as they are georeferenced and demarcated in the geographic information system, in addition to the photographic record required to divulgation plans which was established by the web application. It was possible to implement an interdisciplinary approach using crossed tools that allowed zoning of the Training Center to establish plans for land use and natural resources.
