The main purpose of this study was to analyze the didactic strategies used by Middle School teachers in their teaching practices, framed in the use and application of information and communications technology (ICT) combined with an educational trend. In addition, showing the differences in the results obtained from the sample, according to the interpretative skills. In order to have this study done, four Middle Schools in Medellin were selected, from eighth and ninth grades. Additionally two classes out of the curriculum were chosen strategically: Spanish Language and Technology and Computer Sciences. A case study methodology was used and as instruments two field notes were implemented: interview guide form and two Likert Scales. The sample consisted of thirteen teachers and two hundred and eighty four students.
