Tte article aims to present an interpretation of Plato’s Republic that addresses those features that reveal that to the idea of desire for justice, Me Republic adds a political reality based on aristocracy and on the diRerentiation of citizens according to a function to which they remained always submitted. It also reminds Pisarev’s criticism to Plato, in which the latter represents the traditional dictatorial regime.
