Introduction: The radiological diagnosis has a very important part in the evaluation of several otorhinolaryngological problems. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the gold standard examination technique for otorhinolaryngological problems because of its advantages such as the detection of abnormalities in soft tissues such as cochlear obliteration, cochlear nerve aplasia, and large endolymphatic saccule and retrocochlear lesions.
