Pollen is a plant resource important ecosystem conservation and ensure agricultural production plays role of the relevant economic of Colombia. However, there are major gaps in knowledge of the palinology is their different properties. It’s therefore the object m of this work was to evaluate the bee pollen through systematic sampling of pollen collected in clusters the front traps 12 hives in the apiary El Jordan, Vereda El Manzano, Pereira Risaralda. The characterization of pollen itself made through Acetolysis technique using optical microscopy and morphological and chemical parameters were determined as moisture, pH, ashes, present in the different samples. These variables allowed describing and characterizing the pollen grains of plant species in the area and recognizing families Asteraceae and Boraginaceae.
