This paper approachs to files of deceased’s goods of the Casa de Contratación in the first third of XVIIth century, in order to analyze musicians’ ones, who worked at fleet of Indias. We can obtain conclusions on their social profile, their standard of living and the profitability of the trade of music in Early Modern Age.
