Introduction: Many studies have proven that smoking during pregnancy brings serious risks to the health of the woman and of the fetus, and those risks persist after the baby's birth. Because of the numerous dangers that cigarettes can bring to pregnant and postpartum women and often the difficulty of these women to retain the information obtained during an orientation, it has become important to develop a teaching material to support and facilitate such communication between the speech and hearing professional and the mother.
