The software engineering is considered as a discipline that use different methods, tools, techniques to produce software/applications of optimum quality to permit the conception of information systems that function in an efficient manner, support the decisions made and permit the development of the company (or business); at the same time allows the development of countries. From this perspective, and with the aim of supporting the Colombian companies in the production of high quality program, the Colombian government created the Colombian Network for Quality of the Software - RCCS , which gave support to 58 companies to implement the CMMI model. This unique opportunity, offered the possibility to analyze and discuss which the most common problems were related to the production of quality software and what solutions they gave to these problems. The objective, besides learning of the experience of this process, was to deduce a set of recommendations that can facilitate or to serve of guide to other businesses of the sector of the software that decide to adopt the practices of the model one CMMI. It permitted to propose an assembly of better practical to keep in mind to the moment to implement the model one CMMIDEV-V1.2 in the field of software industry in Colombia.
