The objective of this research was to identify the pedagogical strategies employed in an institution of elementary school in the city of Bucaramanga and its relationship to outcomes and learning processes of students. To achieve this purpose we conducted a quantitative research exploratory - descriptive, to collect information created an objective test instrument designed to identify the teaching strategies, resources and assessment methodologies used by teachers of the institute reviewed the achievements approved and disapproved by students in different areas, in order to contribute to the methodology tools that can optimize the strategies. As a result of this study we identified the teaching strategies used by teachers in each school and its relationship with the academic results obtained by students from educational psychology providing suggestions to the teaching - learning.
