This article aims to show a Learning Object (LO) built from a pedagogical and computerbased approach. The findings are directly obtained from the literature consulted, allowing to design learning objects based on constructivism, complying with the established indicators for the creation of LO, since some educational elements are only constructed from the point of view of computer science. Thus, the objective of the paper is to raise awareness among interested readers about the good use of information technology for the development of LO, in order to address and mitigate the difficulty of learning Differential Calculus, since it is still taught under a behaviorist and mechanistic approach generating desertion in diverse academic programs and in particular in engineering. Finally, the conclusions of the case are stated.
