The competitiveness generated by globalization, productivity, and recognition of supply as essential in production planning have led companies to seek new methods and procedures to provide their supply chain. The objective of this paper is to highlight the strategies implemented by different companies in this respect, with the aim of providing supplies and materials at the right time and at a lower cost. The case study of three companies was carried out and a bibliographical review of the different approaches used for the application and evaluation of the strategic supply. As a conclusion, it is set that the effects of the implementation of a strategic supply method is a factor of success in the administrative management, and its fundamental planning and study in the operation of the company.
