In this paper we analyze the changes occurred in the organizational strategy in large industrial enterprises in the city of Cartagena de Indias, specifically in the petrochemical-plastic sectors, from the adoption of socially responsible practices, to determine the impact such practices in generating competitive advantages in organizations. Today we propose that CSR is a concept that should prevail in the organizational strategy of companies and that such practices are competitive advantages for organizations that implement them, it being understood that a large number of industries analyzed implement CSR based on the economic returns to be received. Methodologically, the research is descriptive in nature, combining bibliographic exploration fieldwork.
