This paper will propose a model for formulating strategies that is aimed at business growth for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), and considers two complementary theoretical approaches: strategic planning and business growth. This article will provide SMEs with a methodological tool that enables them to adapt to external and internal factors that impacts them when formulating their growth strategies.
