The research analyzes the impacts that have social responsibility policies of the Libre University located in Cartagena, in the environment in which it functions. The results are contrasted with the institutional mission regarding the education of their students, in order to establish the areas over which they can align their good governance. Therefore, reference herein to both kinds of professionals, citizens and people who shaped the university, and the organization of teaching with that from Cartagena Headquarters, it is to be socially committed people is done.
