Introduction: Brucellosis is a zoonosis transmitted to humans mainly by ingestion of raw milk and its derivatives, caused by a gram negative cocobacillus genus Brucella. It is a systemic disease that may eventually invade the central nervous system, affecting the eighth cranial nerve, with reports of deafness as an early symptom.
