This article seeks to analyze the consumption of audiovisual web series distributed exclusively on the internet, in the university public majoring in communication studies and related fields in Medellin city, starting from its interest to understand and relate in physical and virtual environments. Likewise, the web series have become in an object of study, since they are cataloged as universes of fiction and identification where the audiences are transferred to other realities and multiple identities are perceived that serve to mold behaviors. This article aims to deepen the way in which web series significantly transform the way people look for entertainment taking into account narrative, language and referential structure for understanding the relationships between web series and viewers.
