The goal of this article is to provide readers with a case presentation of a patient who presented to the radiology department for pain located at the costal region, which later was diagnosed as Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). We pretend with this article to provide a brief, complete and efficient literature review regarding the topic of imaging on this pathology. This was done with the objective of providing the reader with a brief and concise literature review so that this disease entity can remain within the list of differencials.
