Introduction: The non-Hodgkin lymphomas in the thyroid are rare, representing 0.6 to 5.0% of malignant tumors from this gland. Most cases are reported with women older than 40 years and it is often associated with Hashimoto thyroiditis. Early and correct diagnoses are essentially on prognosis and treatment of thyroid lymphoma.
