Abstract:

In this article the glass ceiling phenomenon is analyzed and an overview of the proportion of women at the senior management of 76 Colombian companies listed occurs. The research was documentary by collecting, processing and analysis of publicly available information. The results show very low participation of women in such positions of responsibility so it is proposed to increase the role that enterprises by developing social responsibility programs.
