This article discusses the results of three of the six dimensions studied in the project Indicators of Quality of Life of children of the Commune eight Sincelejo, Sucre Department, 2009 - 2010, which account for their living conditions regarding access and permanence in the educational system, economic conditions, housing and physical environment - social, providing information for the construction of policy on children in the municipality and the department.. It was as objective unveil the conditions of quality of life in which children live and girls aged 7 to 12 years, linking socio- economic indicators,psycho affectives and environmental. It worked with a representative sample of 194 boys and 174 girls, distributed by age as well: from 7 to 8 years 40.7 %, from 9 to 10 years 32.9 % and from 11 to 12 years 26.3 %. Parents applied a semi structured interview that consisted of 34 questions between open and closed, subject to the judgment of experts for validation. With the boys and girls is employment the investigative workshop that served to substantiate the information provided by the parents. In the areas of education, the results show presence of children without schooling, absenteeism and dropout, repetition of years, for various reasons; in the area of housing: housing in a state of disrepair, residential public service poor, sewage, garbage dumps andovergrown lots in the neighborhood; and, as to the economic conditions of families, the research found that there is an economy of subsistence and informal family and some cases of child labor.
