Propiedades Psicométricas de Confiabilidad y Validez del Maslach Burnout Inventory – General Survey

Abstract:

In the present study it aims to describe the psychometric properties of reliability and validity of the Maslach Burnout Inventory - General Services (MBI -GS). This instrument focuses on the evaluation of the Burnout syndrome that is a response to chronic job stress, characterized by negative feelings and attitudes towards work (Otero 2011). For this, a face applied to a sample consisting of 121 people who were occupationally related companies in the coffee sample, whose work was not focused on the field of health and pedagogy is performed. From the data collected exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory and Cronbach’s alpha is implemented. The results are similar to those found in other research, however, the factorial structure has identified some inconsistencies to be reviewed in future research.
