This article draws attention to the repetition mechanism present in different spheres of human experience.Its incidence at the individual and group levels is analysed and its presence at the professional level is discussed.Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions as alternatives, to help make professional practice more effective and satisfactory and to contribute to a more relaxed, creative work setting.
