The essential oil from leaves of Myrcianthes leucoxyla (Ortega) McVaugh grown in Colombia was analyzed by GC-FID and GC-MS. A total of 138 volatile compounds were identified, of which the most prominent were limonene (21.0 %), myrcene (17.3 %), and spathulenol (7.1 %).
