The purpose of this article is to give conceptual elements of occupational therapy with reference to occupational health. This investigation was based on concepts such as occupation, in relation to the interplay between a subject and its needs, and the environment and its demands.The OT is directly concerned with meeting human needs, particularly the integration of social and occupational needs.
