This article tries to explain, in the light of the research programs of Irme Lakatos [11], a segment of he history oh chemistry located in the sixteenth century, during that the period alchemy was living its last stage, that's where the picture of Paracelsus emerges, without getting away from the hermetic philosophy recontextualized the alchemy showing it another horizon to inquire about the hailig propiertis of the metals.
