Emulador de carga para recrear las curvas de consumo eléctrico diario en Zonas No Interconectadas de Colombia definidos en la metodología CREG-002 de 2014
Nowadays the electricity demand in non-interconnected areas of Colombia (ZNI in Spanish) is high and usually scattered throughout the Colombian territory, in this way its connection to the national distribution grid is infeasible, because of its remoteness and difficult access. To ensure the energy supply in the ZNI diesel generators are used, however the generation with diesel is expensive, and creates a socioeconomic problem by failing to ensure continuity of service, and an environmental problem by not being a green energy source. The Gas and Energy Regulatory Commission (CREG in Spanish), raises energy projects with renewable energy sources, for which it is necessary to take into account the energy consumption in non-interconnected zones and their behavior during the time of electric service supply, this behavior is characterized and shown by CREG in a demand-vs-time chart, these charts are a reference for test generation systems with different electric sources. The aim of this work is to develop an emulator that recreates the load conditions and energy demand in a ZNI, and to use it in efficiency test for power converters. The load emulator will be based on the Back to Back topology, this topology may perform power control for observing the behavior of the systems described above. The power control range will be from 0W to 3000W, and the simulations will be in Matlab-Simulink.
